Modern Toilet Restaurant, Taipei

After going back to Taipei from Taichung, we decided to go somewhere which was near to where we were, thus we went to Xi Men Ding (西门町). My main reason for wanting to go to 西门町 was to find the Modern Toilet Restaurant! We chanced upon it in Hong Kong before, but didnt get the chance to go, so I really wanted to take a look at it this time round.

Reached 西门 station which was only one stop away from Taipei Main Station.
This is the 西门红楼.
Looked a little like Japan here...

To get to the Modern Toilet Restaurant, you can try to follow these instructions after reaching 西门 station:
1. Head north on 中華路一段/台3線 toward成都路/104縣道
6 m
2. Turn left onto 成都路/104縣道
250 m
3. Turn right onto 西寧南路
170 m
4. Turn left onto 西寧南路50巷
58 m
Lane 50, Xiníng South Rd, Wanhua District
Taipei City, Taiwan 108

The exact location is 2F, No 7, Lane 50, Xi-Ning South Road, Taipei, so you can also try to look for 西宁南路 on the map in the station and find your way there!

 Menu
Tables had sinks underneath, where people would write messages and throw them into the sink
The much-anticipated food which really did not look appetizing when presented in this way haha. Mine looked worse than my father's set because of the runny curry lol.

Please do not lift up the toilet seats!

Dessert, looking rather unappetizing as well. Didn't order a lot of food because I wanted to just go there for fun and I don't think I will go back again after visiting it once...

A more unique table which had a bath tub underneath it, complete with a shower hanging on the wall. And a shit-shaped lamp!
 Shit is everywhere here.

After that, we walked around Xi Men Ding. There were many shops to explore and if you want to do some shopping, this would definitely be a good place.

Found the famous 阿宗面线 but didn't have any because we were too full from dinner lol.

Guitar performance right at the Taipei Train Station. I guess it would be quite rare or impossible to see something like this happen in Singapore!
